Jil Sander Navy

Jil Sander Navy..a very girl scout look for spring/summer 2012
The lower-priced Sander line, which sells alongside labels like Stella
McCartney at department stores, combined a scout's innocence and curiosity
with characteristic clean lines and techy fabrics for a modern approach
to uniform dressing. I love the colourings and simple shapes..not so keen
on the trainers some how...

Jason Wu Spring Summer 2012

Jason Wu Spring Summer 2012 inspired by graffiti artists and edgy looks,
Wu created a truly 'street' runway collection for next spring. I loved his
unique use of embellishment this season such as the different collars and
also his colour combination. Check out this months Company edit magazine for ideas
on embellishing collars for next years trends. Photos from style.com

Loove Miu Miu

Miu Miu resort 2012 Inspired by the eighties, with,
as style.com puts it 'an overdose of tongue-in-cheek irony'.
The overload of pearl necklaces, rhinestone-studded headbands,
and powder blue lace gloves makes this collection one that everyone would loove:)
The style is very Lacroix meets rock chick. Girly lace meets tough jewellery.
Below Miu Miu's fall 20011 collection, very different from their resort pieces..

This collection seems to have come from even earlier than the eighties,
right back to the thirties. I loove the almost modern vintage feel.
The theme is obviously a very subdued colour palette, with hints of
colour here and there. most obviously within the shoes below
THEY ARE AMAZING:):) If only i could afford them:(

Twenty8Twelve Resort 2012

In there fall 2010 collection, savannah and sienna Miller presented
some lovely pieces; such as the multi coloured giant cardigan,
black tops with fringed shoulders, and a fatigue-style
green mini dress. Perfect for street style, the ordinary girl
could wear rather than high fashion.
For their resort 2012 collection they have tightened up their line
considerably, which is rich in easy pieces. Their inspiration was
the Studio 54-era seventies, a theme mostly glimpsed in items like a slinky
halter-neck jumpsuit, a drape-front bodysuit, and a day-to-night
jacket in a cool, Lurex-threaded fabric. I'm really not sold on this collection.
I like the fact they are making pieces that are for the high street,
with a low price to go with it but it just seems a bit 'safe'.
There's nothing really new. I loved their past collection,
playing up to layering for the winter, but this new collection
just doesn't tick many boxes.

Lucy in Disguise collection

I've only just stumbled across Lilly Allen+Sarah Owen's collection for Lucy in disguise..
it's amazing, particularly in loove with this unique print dress
the collection is full of floral and kitsch prints in daytime and evening wear.
These are just a few of my favourite pieces...
I'd team the fortnums dress £185 with these suede multi strap boots
from topshop for those English rainy days over summer
with the Moschino bottle top jacket thrown over the top
Finishing the look with this stunning 50's mother of pearl bracelet
Just had to add this amazing ornate beaded clutch would liven up any LBD
Can't wait to visit London next to experience their shop:)

Balmain Resort 2012
