Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2012 collection

Shorter with mixed prints and white mesh separated by three-dimensional 
swirls of corded embroidery was the bulk of McCartney's collection this 
season. Gone is the season of tight clingy dresses, the new inspiration seems 
to be art. This collection is highly creative and looks very A level textiles inspired, which 
isn't a bad thing. McCartneys profits have been going up since the start of this 
year and don't show any sign of slowing down with the preview of next season.

The prints that opened Michael van der Ham's show were such a clever idea, 

you almost felt a lightbulb pop up over your own head. The designer had frozen 

his signature fabric collages as images of torn swatches on smart crepe de 

chine blouses and scarf-wrap skirts. You can even get your hands on some 

similar yet cheaper pieces from the designer at Topshop online now.

Michael van der Ham's AW11 collection for Topshop. Fall for grown-up 
pieces with a fun, irreverent edge, in his signature collage style. Colours 
pop and clash, while unexpected fabrics play out over his neat shapes.

Black ankle boots for Autumn

Black ankle boots are a must have for this Autumn

Newlook have some amazing boots in for this season at reasonable prices 

but all the boots i seem to want to go for are topshop £50+ items. I'm 

not a die hard fan of eBay, but from time to time i look on there or sell 

things. I was looking for some cheap boots and stumbled across lots of 

little shops on there that sale similar boots to those of newlook etc but 

at a fraction of the price. Obviously with shoes you want to try them on 

but at these prices can you really not go for them, plus all eBay stores 

guarantee a return policy if they don't fit or you don't like them etc.

Loving Kirtsen Dunst and her come back wardrobe recently. Simple style 

but with all this seasons key elements..I already have the mac, just 

the boots and expensive bag to go (if only)

I am in love with this Vivienne Westwood Wallet but at just over one 

hundred of our English pounds I don't think i'll be affording it 

any time soon:( Just got the job i wanted at Dorothy perkins (yay) so 

i have been looking into things i'll definetly be getting with the 

discount:):) this pleated midi dress is high on the list, teamed 

with a large ring and suede pumps.

Inspiration for the weekend

Manrepeller's blog always has interesting pieces such as all these 

arm candy pictures. Start getting some bracelets now to load up your arm.

Along with some new street styles and the new 3.1 Phillip Lim stachel must have.

Fall 2011 trend report

Alot of polka dots, sixties themed, and college type garments seem 

to be the main trends for this coming fall. Designers such as Rodarte 

and Maison Martin Margiela seemed to bring the idea of collaging to life 

using fabrics, by draping & folding. Can't wait to get out the knits and 

start layering for winter:):)
